چکیده

The general theory of information (GTI) is a synthetic approach, which reveals the essence of information, organizing and encompassing all main directions in information theory. On the methodological level, it is formulated as system of principles explaining what information is and how to measure information. The goal of this paper is the further development of a mathematical stratum of the general theory of information based on category theory. Abstract categories allow us to construct flexible models for information and its flow. Now category theory is also used as unifying framework for physics, biology, topology, and logic, as well as for the whole mathematics, providing a base for analyzing physical and information systems and processes by means of categorical structures and methods. There are two types of representation of information dynamics, i.e., regularities of information processes, in categories: the categorical representation and functorial representation. Here we study the categorical representations of information dynamics, which preserve internal structures of information spaces associated with infological systems as their state/phase spaces. Various relations between information operators are introduced and studied in this paper. These relations describe intrinsic features of information, such as decomposition and complementarity of information, reflecting regularities of information processes.

L-CONVEX SYSTEMS AND THE CATEGORICAL ISOMORPHISM TO SCOTT-HULL OPERATORS

The concepts of $L$-convex systems and Scott-hull spaces are proposed on frame-valued setting. Also, we establish the categorical isomorphism between  $L$-convex systems and Scott-hull spaces. Moreover, it is proved that the category of $L$-convex structures is  bireflective in the category of $L$-convex systems. Furthermore, the quotient systems of $L$-convex systems are studied.

Quantum operators: A classical perspective

We review current research in the field of categorical quantum mechanics. We place the category of relations within the same categorical framework and point out the similarities with the category of Hilbert spaces. Subsequently, we provide a categorical model for investigating the spectral theorem (as provided in [22]), within the context of an internally diagonalisable element and apply these ...

Essential norm estimates of generalized weighted composition operators into weighted type spaces

Weighted composition operators appear in the study of dynamical systems and also in characterizing isometries of some classes of Banach spaces. One of the most important generalizations of weighted composition operators, are generalized weighted composition operators which in special cases of their inducing functions give different types of well-known operators like: weighted composition operat...

Hilbert-Schmidt operators and tensor products of Hilbert spaces

Let V ⊗HS W be the completion of V ⊗alg W in the norm defined by this inner product. V ⊗HS W is a Hilbert space; however, as Garrett shows it is not a categorical tensor product, and in fact if V and W are Hilbert spaces there is no Hilbert space that is their categorical tensor product. (We use the subscript HS because soon we will show that V ⊗HS W is isomorphic as a Hilbert space to the Hilb...

Error bounds in approximating n-time differentiable functions of self-adjoint operators in Hilbert spaces via a Taylor's type expansion

On utilizing the spectral representation of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert spaces, some error bounds in approximating $n$-time differentiable functions of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert Spaces via a Taylor's type expansion are given.
